ATHLETES: BECOME AN MBJJF MEMBER
Starting in October 2019 ALL BELTS/ATHLETES WILL BE REQUIRED to have a valid licence ID in order to register and compete in tournaments as well as BELT PROMOTION.
The athletes registered with MBJJF will have their graduation recognised by an official organisation. Keeping the athlete’s registration valid and accurate helps MBJJF to have an updated competitors record.
To register and compete to an MBJJF competition all athletes must have a valid MBJJF Licence ID
Attention: MBJJF licence ID will be valid for one full year(365 days), starting from the date of its activation(payment). All athletes must renew their personal MBJJF licence ID, every year.
MBJJF LICENCE ID FEE: Rs 100
Optional: Hard copy of MBJJF Licence ID Card: Rs 150
Licence will be valid till 31st December 2020
The following photos will not be accepted:
• Not wearing clothes on upper body
• Wearing Hats or Sunglasses
• Full body
• With other people
• They will be rejected and your membership will not be accepted until you submit a proper photo

I do hereby submit my application for membership to the MBJJF (Mauritius Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation). I authorize, and agree to hold harmless, whatever medical personnel that may be present at any event sponsored by MBJJF to take any action necessary, should I become injured. I further understand that tickets will be sold to spectators to watch the tournament; that news media and others will cover the tournament and that it may also be videotaped or otherwise shown to audiences around the world. I hereby consent to having my likeness shown, publicized, commented and/or reported on, and I do not expect to, and in fact waive any rights and compensation I might otherwise be entitled to as a result thereof. I represent that I am in good health; that I am not presently, nor will I participate while under the influence of any drug or medication; that no one affiliated with this organization has encouraged me to enter or made any representations regarding my fitness or ability to participate; that I have read and understood every provision of this release; and that I am legally competent to and freely enter into this waiver, release and assumption of risk agreement. The MBJJF will not be responsible in case of any minor, serious injury or death during a competition and will not be responsible to pay any private medical institution for your further treatment.
